Top experiences
The island's most-loved days out, ready to book.
Stingray City & Starfish Point
Cruise out on a spacious, brand-new catamaran for a morning with Grand Cayman's southern stingrays at the sandbar, snorkel a reef stop (Coral Gardens or Barrier Reef), then relax at postcard-perfect Starfish Point, with about 40 minutes to enjoy each stop.
Stingray City, Barrier Reef & Coral Gardens
Our most popular Stingray City combo: spend time with Grand Cayman's southern stingrays at the sandbar, then snorkel two full reef stops back to back, Barrier Reef and Coral Gardens, for double the underwater time of a single-stop tour.
Stingray City, Snorkel & Beach Lunch
Spend half the day on the water: two snorkel stops (a seasonal conch dive from November through April), the Stingray City sandbar, and a fresh, Cayman-style seafood lunch on the beach across the North Sound.
Stingray City Sandbar Experience
The quickest, most affordable way to experience Stingray City: about 45 minutes up close with Grand Cayman's southern stingrays at the sandbar, no extra stops, perfect if you're short on time in port.

Frequently asked questions
Everything you need to know before booking your Grand Cayman experience.
What are the best tours in Grand Cayman? +
The most popular experience is Stingray City - swimming with wild southern stingrays at a shallow sandbar in the North Sound. The Grand Cayman Dolphin Encounter at Dolphin Discovery is another top choice, especially for families. For something more relaxed, a private boat charter along Seven Mile Beach is hard to beat. All of these are available to book directly through Best Day Cayman.
Do I need to pay online to book a tour? +
It depends on the tour. Some tours have a direct online booking link where you pay now to secure your spot. Others use a simple request form - you fill in your details, we confirm availability, and you pay in person on the day of the tour. No money is ever handled by this website directly - payment goes straight to the operator. Both options are clearly labeled on every tour page.
Are stingray tours safe for kids and non-swimmers? +
Yes - Stingray City Sandbar is one of the safest marine encounters in the Caribbean. The water is only waist-deep at the sandbar, so there is no need to swim. Children of all ages regularly visit, and experienced guides are always in the water with you. The stingrays are completely accustomed to humans and are gentle. Life jackets are available on request.
Can I book tours if I am arriving by cruise ship? +
Absolutely - Grand Cayman is one of the top cruise destinations in the Caribbean, and many of our tours are specifically designed for cruise passengers with limited time ashore. George Town is the main cruise port and most tour operators are only a short drive or water taxi away. We recommend booking in advance to guarantee your spot, especially on busy cruise days. Our port guide has everything you need to plan your day ashore.
How far in advance should I book? +
We recommend booking at least 48 to 72 hours before your preferred date, especially during peak cruise season (November through April). Popular tours like Stingray City and the Dolphin Encounter fill up fast. If you are arriving soon and worried about availability, message us on WhatsApp and we will check for you right away.
What is the best time of year to visit Grand Cayman? +
Grand Cayman has beautiful weather year-round, with average temperatures around 80 to 85 degrees Fahrenheit. The dry season from November to April has the calmest seas and lowest humidity, making it ideal for water activities. The summer months (May through October) are warm and slightly rainier but less crowded and often more affordable. Hurricane season runs June through November, but Grand Cayman is rarely affected directly.
Pro tip
Rent a car or Jeep. It unlocks the whole island.
No Uber on the island. A rental car costs less than a day of taxis, gives you total freedom, and opens up the East End, the beaches, and the hidden spots no tour bus reaches.
